Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama met Jordan’s King Abdullah II on Thursday, expressing appreciation for the monarch’s visit and describing him as a globally respected leader and valued friend.
The meeting followed King Abdullah II’s official welcome earlier in the day by Albanian President Bajram Begaj at the presidential palace. Delegations from both countries attended the welcoming ceremony.
Rama said he was honoured to receive the Jordanian monarch and underscored the importance of strengthening bilateral relations. The visit marks King Abdullah II’s second official trip to Albania, aimed at deepening political, economic, and security cooperation.
