
Albania’s Central Election Commission (CEC) has completed the counting and evaluation of all votes cast within the country’s territory, in line with electoral deadlines.
The process covered all political parties and coalitions across Albania’s 12 districts.
According to preliminary data:
- Registered voters inside Albania: 3,467,962
- Votes cast: 1,458,251 (turnout: 42.21%)
- Valid votes: 1,402,820
- Invalid votes: 55,334
The counting of overseas ballots is still underway. So far, 75,414 out of 194,889 diaspora votes—approximately 39%—have been processed. Counting has been completed for Kukës district, with other regions ongoing.
In parallel, the CEC continues assessing preferential votes from open lists, with some districts already completed.
Final results, including potential seat shifts due to diaspora and preferential votes, are expected in the coming days.
