Egnatia won the Albanian Superliga title for the 2024/2025 season on Monday night, defeating Vllaznia 4–0 in the “Final 4” championship match at the National Arena in Tirana.
The Rrogozhinë-based club sealed its historic triumph with goals from Liridon Lushkja (6’, 49’), Leo Melo (82’) and Ardit Ujka (90+5’), in a dominant performance officiated by Polish referee Szymon Marciniak.
Egnatia took the lead early, and despite a close chance from Vllaznia’s Bekim Balaj striking the crossbar, maintained control throughout the match. The win crowns a stellar season that saw the club finish top of the league table and qualify for the final via a draw against Partizani.
This marks Egnatia’s first league title, securing them a place in the first qualifying round of the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League.
A post-match trophy ceremony featured Albanian FA President Armand Duka and General Secretary Ilir Shulku, who presented the championship medals and trophy.
